At our dental clinics in Pembroke and Deep River, we use technology that helps us provide our patients with efficient dental care, from digital and panoramic X-rays to 3D scanners.
Technologies at Our Dental Clinic
At our Wellspring Dental clinics, we use technology to inform our treatment planning process and to help make your dental appointments more efficient. Since we can display digital x-rays and scans on the monitors we have in our treatment rooms, we are able to show you any oral health issues in your mouth and walk you through our treatment plan.
Our goal is to provide patients with efficient dental care and make sure they are fully informed about their oral health. Dental technology helps us do that.
Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays use digital sensors rather than traditional photographic x-ray films. This way, they are able to produce detailed computer images of your gums and teeth and other oral structures. This lets our dentists examine parts of your mouth which would otherwise be invisible to them.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic x-rays allow your dentist to create a single image of your entire mouth. This image is a flat representation of the teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures. Panoramic x-rays are often used to help plan treatments for dentures, extractions and implants.
iTero 3D Scanner
At our Deep River location we use the iTero® intraoral scanner to take 3D impressions of your bite. It allows us to plan your dental treatment in real time and store data digitally.
