At our Wellspring Dental clinics in Pembroke and Deep River, we offer a variety of restorative dental services, from crowns and dentures to fillings, bridges, root canals.
What is Restorative Dental Care?
Restorative dental care describes any procedure which aims to restore the regular appearance and function of your smile
By treating and repairing structural problems such as missing or damaged teeth, our dentists are able to help to restore your oral health (and brighten your smile).
Depending on your oral health issue, our Deep River and Pembroke dentists will determine the correct restorative treatment option for you.
Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are porcelain caps which your dentist places on top of your teeth in order to restore their function and appearance. Crowns can attach bridges to your mouth, prevent a cracked tooth from worsening, or cover dental implants. They are also able to return a stained or discoloured tooth to its natural colouration.
Dental Bridges
Dental bridges are tooth replacements that bond to existing teeth or to dental implants in order to replace a section of missing teeth. Since bridges are custom-made, they are vey difficult to notice and are able to restore the natural bite between your upper and lower teeth as well as their natural contour.
Dental Fillings
At Wellspring Dental, we use composite (tooth-coloured) fillings to repair a cavity or tooth damage, like a crack. These fillings can withstand moderate pressure from the constant stress of chewing, and can be used on front and back teeth.
Full & Partial Dentures
Dentures are artificial teeth used to replace one missing tooth or several in a row (partial dentures), or a whole jaw of missing teeth (full dentures). They allow patients with missing teeth to maintain their face structure, and talk and eat properly.
Inlays & Onlays
Inlays and onlays are tooth-coloured porcelain fillings used to repair cavities when the damage is too extensive for a standard dental filling. They are custom-made in a dental laboratory and are then permanently cemented to the tooth as a single piece.
Root Canals
Roots canals are a procedure in which your dentist removes diseases blood vessels, tissues and nerves from a tooth's interior. This procedure removes decay and bacteria from your mouth, allowing your dentist to stop the progression of infection and prevent a tooth extraction from having to occur.
